Blü Architecture was launched in 2020 after spending several years simmering in my mind.
Since my childhood, I’ve had an attraction for creative projects and the mathematical sciences, architecture was therefore for me a logical career choice that fascinates me as much today as it did on the first day!
After graduating from the Architectural Technology program at La Cité Collégiale in 2010, I immediately started my career in the residential field working for almost eight years for a leader in the residential industry which provided 100% customizable homes and focused on the quality of construction and customer satisfaction.
I acquired a lot of experience during my employment with them and even had the opportunity to participate in major business decisions as well as managing the sales team and developing my management skills.
Towards the end of 2017, feeling the need to take on new challenges, and gain experience by exploring another facet of the of architecture and construction field, I joined the ranks of a company in full expansion in the wellness industry. This very passionate company focused on creating unique experiences with the primary goal of transforming people's lives, one visit at a time. I quickly went from an architectural technologist to a construction manager before becoming a project manager.
Being afraid of "losing the touch" and missing the residential sector, I slowly started to take on some contracts to fill my evenings and weekends. Loving being able to work directly with clients to enable them to fulfill one of the biggest dreams of their lives, strong from my vast experience in the field always focused on the client and passionate about possibilities, the idea of Blü Architecture slowly started taking shape in my mind.
In 2020, my father underwent a major operation which forced me to take a step back. Drafting and creating plans then gave me the income and flexibility I needed to be by his side, thus fulfilling my desire to put people at the heart of my career and to work closely with them to create spaces in their image and meeting their specific needs.
Blü Architecture represents the essence of myself: blu for blue, my favorite color since always but also for my analytical, perfectionist and logical personality. The umlauts are a nod to my last employer as well as the fact that since I was a little girl, I added a smiley face after any informal signature.
